FAQ about Cav Puppies
What makes you any different from other breeders?
We are not a puppy mill. We love our Cavs. They are part of our family. They are shown constant attention and love. Every time that a new litter is born each family member picks a puppy (we take turns, and yes there are arguments among the children most of the time, lol). We do this to ensure that each and every puppy gets the love, affection, and socialization that they need.
Why is the chestnut colour on the Blenheim puppies so light?
All Blenheim puppies have different shades of coloring. As they grow the color will darken into the dark Chestnut color. Do not let the light color factor into your decision of which puppy to pick. Rather, look at the pattern to determine what you like.
What age do you let the puppies go to their new homes?
State Law requires that puppies may not be sold before they are 8 weeks old. Studies indicate that puppies separated early from their litters are significantly more likely to develop behavior problems as adults than puppies who stay with their litter mates for at least two months. It is very important for the puppy to have interaction with its mother and siblings to learn correct behaviors and socialization skills.
Why aren't their noses black?
When they are first born they are pink. As they grow they will slowly turn black. Sometimes they will look speckled while they fill in. This process can take weeks or sometimes months. Some say that using a metal bowl to feed them out of speeds up the process. Whether that is true or not I am not certain. We do feed out of metal bowls anyway.
What is the best way to potty train my new puppy?
Many people have different opinions on this topic. Crate training has been a better success for us then most others. If you would like to learn more about this please go to:

How much is the deposit and when is it due?
We will not accept the deposit until the puppies are born and have reached 3 days old. At that time we reach out to those that are on our waiting list. You are allowed to pick out your puppy and place the deposit. Deposit amount is $400. The remainder is due when puppy is picked up. If you choose to pay with a credit card then the remaining amount due is required 10 days before.
Do you ship puppies?
Yes we do. We have flown our puppies many times and have never had a bad experience. We charge for the airplane ticket, health certificate from the veterinarian, and the crate. The total amount is usually around $275-325. We charge only the amount to cover those things.
We also have a flight nanny that will hand deliver your puppy. Typical cost is around $500.
